In order to provide our clients with best in class visibility into additional charges it is required the all carriers log Accessorial charge in the Transmission platform. Accessorial logging through the Transmission platform also allows for improved payment speeds and few disputes as all additional cost are acknowledged and accepted prior invoicing.
Additionally, Accessorial logging is directly related to the automated workflows available in Billing v3 and is necessary in order to trigger the automated line-item generation.
- Accessorial charges are to be logged at the time the event occurs for the following Key Accessorials - Chassis Split, Waiting Time, Drop Fee/Bobtail, Layover Fee, and Stop Off Fee
- Additional Accessorial charges (outside of Key Accessorials) may be logged prior to billing if Driver/CSR/or Dispater is not able to log at the time of occurrence
- In order for payment approval, the Key Accessorial charges MUST BE logged in Transmission prior to invoice submission
- Any Accessorial charge invoiced without being logged in the Transmission portal is subject to not being approval and payment being withheld
