Make a Milestone Update (Schedule & Confirm Pickup and Delivery, Confirm Empty Return) [how-to guide]

There are a few different ways you can make milestone updates. We will review each below. Please note that the functions for making scheduled & confirmed pickup and delivery updates are exactly the same.

(A) Making Milestone Updates Through the 'Row View'

1A. When making a milestone update in the row, click on the 'pencil icon' to enter in the scheduled or confirmed milestone.

2A. For this example we will be making the scheduled pickup milestone. After you click on the 'pencil icon' the scheduling popout will appear. In the 'schedule tab' enter in the Date & Time and click "Schedule pickup".

3A. You have now made the milestone update and will see the Date/Time listed under the pickup column.

(B) Making Milestone Updates Through the 'Shipment Popout View'

1B. When making a milestone update in the row, click on the 'pencil icon' to enter in the scheduled or confirmed milestone.

2B. For this example we will be making the confirmed pickup milestone. After you click on the 'pencil icon' the scheduling popout will appear. In the 'confirm tab' enter in the Date & Time and click "Schedule pickup".

3B. You have now made the milestone update and will see the Date/Time listed under the Routing guide.

(C) Making Milestone Updates Through the 'Next Action buttons'

1C. When making a milestone update with the Next Action buttons, simply click on the button in either the Row or Shipment Popout view and the scheduling popout will appear.

2C. Make the milestone update in the scheduling popout the same way you would in steps 2A or 2B.

3C. You have now made the milestone update and will see the Next Action button automatically update to the next step (in this example going from "Schedule Delivery" to "Confirm Delivery").
